As a financial services industry veteran with more than five decades of experience, Janet provides knowledgeable and time-tested support for our clients and team. She has expertise in comprehensive financial planning services, including investment management and estate planning. Janet holds herself to the highest standard of integrity when working with clients, gaining a thorough understanding of their situation to help them strategically pursue each of their goals.
Janet holds the Chartered Financial Analyst certification, one of the world’s most respected and recognized investment designations. As a CFA, she has the skills needed for high-level, specialized asset-management responsibilities, including security analysis, portfolio management and business reporting.
Before joining our team, Janet was president of A.T. Whitehead, Inc. and vice president at Shawmut Investment Advisors. Previously, she also held various roles including vice president and portfolio manager at Citizens Bank; senior portfolio manager at Bank of New England; and portfolio manager at Third National Bank. She earned an MBA from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Western New England University.
Janet is a trustee for Western New England University. She previously served as director of the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation, Rotary International, the Providence Society of Financial Analysts, The Boston Society of Security Analysts and the Amos House in Providence, Rhode Island. She was recognized by Rotary International as a Paul Harris Fellow.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Janet divides her time between Tampa, Florida, Providence, Rhode Island, and Watertown, Massachusetts. She and her husband, Robert, have two children, Susan and Robert, Jr., and three grandchildren.
