Shannon directs the day-to-day operational functions of our office, playing a key role in ensuring an efficient workflow.

Before joining Novak & Powell in 2016, Shannon was the Learning & Development Manager for Coalfire Systems in Westminster, Colorado. Earlier in her career, she held teaching positions at the University of Colorado, the Bridge School in Boulder, Miami Sunset Senior High School, and Dixie Hollins High School in St. Petersburg. She also worked as a corporate trainer for Essilor of America in St. Petersburg. Shannon holds a bachelor's degree in French and American studies with a minor in international business from Eckerd College.

Her father was in the military, so Shannon grew up in multiple locations, the longest stint being Seoul, South Korea. However, her extended family has always been in Florida, and Shannon today lives in Gulfport with her husband, Josh, and their two sons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, running on the beach, trying her hand at golf, and volunteering at her sons' school.
